Through the advancements of technology, we are seeing great developments at rapid pace and it can make our world seem very complex and overwhelming at times.
Kids often don’t see the world in the same light as us though. Where we feel stress, anxiety, fear, and sometimes even anger, kids often feel wonder, surprise, excitement and joy. Kids are in their own world and this world fosters curiosity.
Curiosity is a strong force that enables kids to ignore the weight of obstacles, fail fast, and overcome challenges.
It seems that the older we get though, the less curious we become.

- When was the last time you climbed a tree just to see if you could do it?
- When was the last time you took something apart and couldn’t put it back together just because you wanted to see what was inside of it?
- When was the last time you experienced something new?
Kids experience the world at a much faster rate than us, not because they haven’t been exposed to it but because they still have their curiosity.
In a complex, technological world though, curiosity has no bounds and that can be very scary for adults.
We live at a crossroads where kids will either be guided through the technological world or threatened by it. It is the role of the adult to decide which of these futures is best for the child.
